Based on a 17-volume manga series by Jun Sadogawa, the 12-episode Ramen Fighter Miki anime series was directed by Nobuo Tomizawa and aired on Japanese TV in 2006. The central character in this shonen, slice-of-life comedy is Miki Onimaru, a hot-headed tomboy with a frenetic fighting style who works as the poster girl for her family's Chinese ramen noodle restaurant.
